The Eikendal Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot smells of ripe blackberries and blackcurrants. On the palate, the same flavours with spicy and harmoniously integrated wood notes. The intense fruit flavours are supported by a fine tannin structure. The wine has a long and intense finish.

Vinification:
The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in a tank and was then transferred to barrels for ageing. The wine then matured for 12 months in 300-litre oak barrels, using 15% new oak. The final cuvée was assembled shortly before bottling.

Carpaccio, roast beef short rib, creamy curries.
